Century Ride

Join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM at Rotary Raceway Park in Middleton for the Heart of the Valley Century Ride.
This event offers cyclists of all ages and skill levels the chance to experience the beautiful scenery of the Annapolis Valley through a variety of route options.

No exceptions can be made after this deadline.

Please note that day-of registrations cannot be guaranteed a meal or event swag.
A chicken dinner will be served between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated for same-day registrations, so early registration is strongly recommended.

Race Day Information
All distances will start and finish at Rotary Park in Middleton, with refreshments available before and after the run.
- Half Marathon Start: 8:00 AM
- 5 KM & 10 KM Start: 8:30 AM
- Check-in & Same-Day Registration: Begins at 7:00 AM
Please note that start times may be adjusted, including earlier starts, depending on heat or weather conditions to ensure participant safety. Participants will be notified in advance whenever possible.
Water Stations
Water stops will be available along each route:
- 5 KM: 1 water stop
- 10 KM: Minimum of 2 water stops
- Half Marathon: Minimum of 5 water stops
Sustainability Update
We’re going cup-free! Disposable cups will not be provided on course. Instead, each participant will receive a free HydraPak Cup in their race kit to use during the event.
HydraPak is also offering all participants a discount code for their running products. A link to their store and your discount code will be provided after registration. The code is valid until the end of 2026. #HydraPak #SustainableRace
Registration Details
- Early Registration (before June 21): $45 for all distances
- All participants will receive a finisher’s medal and a special swag item.
Shirt Information
As of 4:00 PM on July 11, shirt sizes are not guaranteed. Registrations received after this time will receive shirts on a first come, first served basis. If your requested size is unavailable, an alternative swag item will be provided.
Additional Notes
- All routes will remain open for 3.5 hours
- No refunds will be issued for this event
- Non-service dogs are not permitted at the event

Learn to Paddle

Our Learn to Paddle event is a great opportunity for anyone new to kayaking or canoeing, or those looking to build their confidence on the water. Similar to our guided paddles where we guide participants out onto the river, while also receiving a brief introduction on paddling basics, safety, and helpful tips before heading out. Community Yard Sale

The Community Yard Sale is a great opportunity for community members to come together to browse, shop, and connect with their neighbours. There is no cost to participate, and no registration is required if you bring your own table and display. Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, displays, and any supplies needed for their setup. If you need a table, we have a limited number available to rent for $15 each. Tables will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. At the end of the event, vendors are responsible for removing all of their tables, displays, unsold items, garbage, and recycling. The Town will not be responsible for the disposal of garbage or unsold goods. Please help us keep Rotary Park clean by leaving your space in the same condition you found it. Community Board Game Night

To help make the evening welcoming for everyone, the first hour (6:00–7:00 PM) will be a Low Sensory Hour, offering a quieter, calmer environment for those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. From 7:00–9:00 PM, everyone is welcome to join in. Youth under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your favourite board game to share or choose from our growing collection of games. Light refreshments will be provided.
Whether you're an experienced gamer or have never picked up a board game before, everyone is welcome. It's a great opportunity to meet new people, learn a new game, reconnect with old favourites, and enjoy an evening of laughter.
