Accessibility Tools

The Town of Middleton provides snow-clearing services to help keep streets and sidewalks safe and accessible during the winter months. Plowing and snow removal are carried out based on weather conditions, snowfall amounts, and priority routes. Residents are asked to avoid parking on streets during snow events and to keep sidewalks clear in accordance with Town bylaws. Updates and advisories will be shared as needed during significant weather events.

During the winter, there is a Winter Parking Ban that comes into effect. To read about the dates of the ban and what to expect, click here.

Winter Parking Ban

The winter parking ban is in effect from the first snowfall or on December 1 (whichever comes first) through April 30.

During this period, no person may park or leave a vehicle on any street or highway within town limits in a way that interferes with snow removal or winter maintenance.

Vehicles that inhibit snow-clearing operations may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.

The Winter Parking Ban is enacted through the Motor Vehicle Act.
