What is PVSC?

The Property Valuation Services Corporation (PVSC) is the organization responsible for determining the assessed value of all properties in Nova Scotia. PVSC is not part of the Town of Middleton. It operates independently to:

  • Assess properties fairly and consistently
  • Update property information when changes are made
  • Process assessment inquiries and appeals

The Town of Middleton uses these assessed values to calculate property taxes; however, we do not determine the value of your property or handle property tax appeals.

For more information or to update details about your property, contact PVSC at 1-800-380-7775.
