Public Participation Meeting
Tue. 20 Oct, 2026 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The Town of Middleton is developing proposed amendments to the Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB) as part of its Housing Accelerator Fund initiatives.
The proposed amendments relate to the Northlands area. The proposed amendments would change the Northlands area from its existing Residential Holding zoning to a new Northlands Comprehensive Development District (NCDD) Zone. The new zone would provide a framework to guide the area’s future development as a coordinated residential neighbourhood
These amendments are still in draft form. They have not yet been considered by Council and have not been adopted. The Public Participation Meeting is being held to gather public input before the amendments proceed further through the municipal approval process.
