The work is now completed. The water main on Main Street was shut down to complete repairs, which temporarily changed the direction of water flow throughout parts of the Town.
As a result, residents from Senator Road to Bridge Street may experience water discolouration over the next 12 hours as the system returns to normal.
If your water appears discoloured, simply run your cold water tap for several minutes until the water runs clear.

Please be advised that there will be a temporary water service interruption beginning at 1:30 p.m. today, July 15, and lasting approximately one to two hours.
While road repairs are underway on Main Street, Public Works has decided to also complete additional repairs to underground water infrastructure to minimize future disruptions.
The water interruption will affect properties on Main Street between Jones Avenue and Park Street.
Once water service is restored, some residents may notice temporary discolouration in their water. If this occurs, simply run your cold water taps for several minutes until the water runs clear.
