Ever wonder what your Mayor and Town Council do?
Your Mayor and Council are elected by residents to represent the community, make important decisions, and help shape the future of Middleton!
Together, they are responsible for:
- Setting priorities: Establishing the Town's goals and long-term vision.
- Making decisions: Creating municipal policies and bylaws that guide how our community operates.
- Managing public funds: Reviewing and approving municipal budgets and making decisions about how tax dollars are spent.
- Representing residents: Listening to community concerns, advocating for residents, and ensuring local voices are considered in municipal decisions.
- Planning for the future: Making decisions that support community development, infrastructure, and the long-term well-being of Middleton.
While Council provides direction and makes policy decisions, Town staff are responsible for carrying out those decisions and delivering municipal services.
