This Municipal Awareness Week, we'll be sharing information about Municipal Government. Today, we're highlighting the four departments that work together to serve our community. 
Administration
Administration supports the overall operations of the Town, including strategic planning, Council administration, public communications, community engagement and special projects. This team helps ensure municipal services run smoothly, residents stay informed and Council's decisions are put into action.
Finance Department
The Finance Department manages the Town's financial operations, including budgeting, financial planning, property tax and utility billing, payroll and financial reporting. Their work helps ensure municipal funds are managed responsibly and transparently to support the services our community relies on.
Public Works
From the roads we drive on to the water we use every day, Public Works helps keep Middleton safe, accessible and functioning! This team maintains roads, sidewalks, water and sewer infrastructure, parks and municipal equipment. They also handle snow clearing, seasonal maintenance and many other essential services.
Recreation
The Recreation Department helps make Middleton a great place to live, play and connect! From coordinating community events and recreational programming to supporting parks, recreation spaces and activities for residents of all ages, this department helps bring our community together.
Every department plays an important role in delivering the services residents depend on. While their responsibilities may differ, they all share a common goal: making Middleton a great place to live, work and play!
