The preliminary list of electors for the Town of Middleton has been prepared for the upcoming Municipal Election which will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016.

Electors may find out if they are on the List of Electors by contacting the Returning Officer or Assistant Returning Officer.  Additions or corrections to the list may also be made upon application by telephone, in writing, or in person.  Please contact the Returning Officer by phone at 902-825-9825; email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or at the Town Office at 131 Commercial Street, Middleton between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.   Additions or corrections must be received by 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016.

N.S. PROVINCIAL LOTTERIES/CASINO CORP.--Support4Sport Grow Your Game Video Contest Launched

The Nova Scotia Provincial Lotteries and Casino Corporation (NSPLCC), through its Support4Sport program, and Sport Nova Scotia will give away 10 $1,000 prizes to Nova Scotians across the province and one grand prize of $10,000 to improve sport in Nova Scotian communities.

NSPLCC and Sport Nova Scotia today, July 27, announced the Support4Sport Grow Your Game video contest to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its flagship community program.

"The benefits of sport go a long way. That's why NSPLCC created Support4Sport in 2006," said Bob MacKinnon, president and CEO of NSPLCC. "From playground to podium, we are committed to investing in a healthier Nova Scotia by championing sport through the Support4Sport Program and this contest is a fun way to get Nova Scotians excited about sport in their communities."

Administered by Sport Nova Scotia, Support4Sport has become the largest source of funding for amateur sport in Nova Scotia, raising more than $31.2 million in 10 years and helping thousands of athletes, coaches, officials and community groups grow their game.
