01 May 2020 - In compliance with the terms of the provincial emergency declaration of May 1, 2020, all parks in Middleton including Rotary Park Centennial Park, and Rotary Riverside Park are open. The exception is the playground within Rotary Park which remains off limits. Exercise is still encouraged but in groups of less than 5 and while still maintaining social distancing of 6 feet. This applies especially to the skatepark.

23 Mar 2020 - In compliance with the terms of the provincial emergency declaration of March 22, 2020, all parks in Middleton including Rotary Park (and all facilities contained therein), Centennial Park, and Rotary Riverside Park are closed. Exercise is still encouraged but in groups of less than 5 and while still maintaining social distancing of 6 feet.

All public Council and Committees of Council have been cancelled until further notice. They have moved online.

All Recreation programs, including March Break Camps, Bootcamp, Corefit, Yoga, Seniors Fitness, After School Physical Activity, have been stood down until such a time as it is safe to stand them up. 

The Middleton Fire Hall is closed to outside rentals.

For bill payments, the Town of Middleton can be set up as a payee with all mayor financial institutions (no e-transfers) for online and telephone banking.  If you need assistance or need your account number to be able to proceed, please phone 902-825-4841 ext 101.  Alternatively, payments by cheque can be left in the drop box outside the main entrance of Town hall. Please note that even though we are closed to the public at this time, any outstanding account balances for both water and taxes will incur interest.
