Wills and Estate Planning: Things to consider when making a will and decisions about your wishes.

Powers of Attorney: What is this document?  What does a power of attorney do?  What should I know before naming someone?  What should I know if I have been asked to be someone’s power of attorney?

Dalhousie University Human Body Donation Program:  A Lasting Gift to Medical Science and Teaching.  Learn how this program works and aids in the teaching of human anatomy to Medical, Dental, and Health Professions students.  In addition, you will learn how the program supports research purposes and is an essential part of the curriculum.

Death Midwifery: The guest speaker Cassandra Yonder will share information on her work in the area of Death Midwifery.  Cassandra is an educator in this area, as well as a home funeral guide, and bereavement support provider.  Her presentation will explore the options people have in post death care as well as the opportunities for home funerals.
