DESCRIPTION:<div>\n<p>The Town of Middleton is developing proposed amendmen
 ts to the Municipal Planning Strategy (MPS) and Land Use Bylaw (LUB) as pa
 rt of its Housing Accelerator Fund initiatives.</p>\n<p>The proposed amend
 ments relate to the Northlands area. The proposed amendments would change 
 the Northlands area from its existing Residential Holding zoning to a new 
 Northlands Comprehensive Development District (NCDD) Zone. The new zone wo
 uld provide a framework to guide the area’s future development as a coordi
 nated residential neighbourhood</p>\n<p>These amendments are still in draf
 t form. They have not yet been considered by Council and have not been ado
 pted. The Public Participation Meeting is being held to gather public inpu
 t before the amendments proceed further through the municipal approval pro
