The Middleton Industrial Park is strategically located next to Highway 101 off Exit 18 -- and is bordered by the west end of Brooklyn Street. The park is located approximately 161 kilometers (90 minutes) from the provincial capital of Halifax, and approximately 80 km (50 minutes) from the ferry terminal in Digby – a vital access point to markets in the Eastern United States.

Servicing & Zoning

The Town of Middleton provides water, sewer, and storm sewer mains to the park and maintains the roadways and street lighting. Electrical power to the park is serviced by the provincial utility, Nova Scotia Power. There are several serviced lots currently available at the park, and future development of the site will increase the developed land base by 40 per cent.

The park holdings are zoned for Manufacturing and Industry and have surrounding zoning on the perimeter lots of Highway Commercial. Any business that conforms to the manufacturing and industry zoning and that is located on the original industrial park holdings is eligible for the rural commercial tax rate, which is set at the same rate as commercial rate for the County of Annapolis.

Land Sales

The Town of Middleton has worked successfully with local and regional entrepreneurs to develop land sale activities at the park that are beneficial to both new and existing businesses.
